A Simple Love Story

Two hearts collide,

two souls combine.

One pink and bright,

the other blue in sight.

But what if pink loves pink?

What if blue loves blue?

Or one loves none,

the other loves two.

Normalcy is set,

when a boy loves a girl,

but what about the others?

The others who cant hide their emotion.

Temptation to scream,

the feeling of pulling away,

the voices in their heads,

told them to run away.

People throw daggers through words,

not knowing the scars on their bodies,

and that's why they run,

run to a far away haven.

Why cant people understand

that love cannot be stopped?

Love is love,

no matter the gender.

Yes, two souls collide,

and yes, two hearts combine.

This time they love who they love,

until eternity and infinite die.
